Robert "Bob" Brice Warmingham, age 82, of Pleasant Lake, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on April 23, 2025, when he passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home. Bob was born on March 19, 1943, in Philadelphia and later graduated from Leslie High School with the class of 1961. In March of that same year he married his high school sweetheart, the local preacher's daughter, Miriam. For the next 64 years, Bob and Miriam modeled what dedication to faith, family and hard work meant by building a life and home and raising their two daughters.
Bob started his career in the car sales and tire business, working at Goodyear Tire and Rubber, Fischer Tire, and Isaac Tire. After building networks and honing his business and sales skills, he became a partner with Isaac Tire. Ultimately, Bob became sole owner of Hardline International where he successfully ran a business for the past 30+ years with his loyal and dedicated manager and friend, Dawn Clingaman.
Although a dedicated and successful business owner, Bob always found time for his faith, his family and his hobbies. He enjoyed traveling with family and friends, golfing on multiple leagues, and meeting up with his friends for coffee and breakfast at Hankerds, or greeting his neighbors outside his condo in Florida. At home, you could often find Bob outside mowing his grass in a neighborhood competition for the best lawn or sitting outside grilling on one of his multiple grills or smokers with buddy Bella right next to him, waiting to eat up the scraps. Bob loved spending time with family and friends – often spending long days by the pool (only if you came with your entry fee of a dollar or a kiss). During his alone time, you could find him enjoying a western movie, listening to music and pretending he could sing, or cheering on (or yelling at) his MSU Spartans.
Bob also loved his Rivers of Life church family and pastors.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie and David Boyer; his birth father, Sydney Warmingham; his parents-in-law, Joe and Bertie Wood; his daughter, Kelly Furth; brother, Jim Warmingham; and brother-in-law, Joe Wood. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Miriam Warmingham; daughter, Michele (John) DeBoever; grandchildren: Erin (Nick) Boertman, Lauren Furth, and Sydney Furth; great-grandchildren, Austin and Madison Boertman; and adopted daughter, Frannie Cramton. Bob is also survived by his siblings: Toya (Ken) Pilcher, David Boyer, and Marla (Kerry) Fear; sister-in-laws, Diane Wood and Karen Warmingham, and several nieces and nephews.
Services honoring Bob's life will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025, at Vickers Leslie Funeral Home located at 109 N. Church Street. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the service beginning at 12:00pm. Bob will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leslie following the service. Charitable donations may be made in Bob's memory at Henry Ford Hospice Care or Cascades Humane Society.
