Sanjuanita Escandon Obituary

Sanjuanita Mireles Escandon, a beacon of joy and love, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, in Paragould, Arkansas, at the age of 43. Born on July 6, 1981, in Osceola, Arkansas, to Pedro and Isabella Mireles, Sanjuanita's vibrant spirit and infectious laughter left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Throughout her life, Sanjuanita was the epitome of kindness and warmth. Her career as a preschool teacher at Brad Head Start was not just a job, but a calling. She dedicated her life to nurturing and inspiring young minds, instilling in them the values of love and education. Her passion for teaching was paralleled only by her devotion to her family. Sanjuanita's legacy is carried on by her adoring husband, Camilo Escandon, and their cherished children: Ismael Alberto Escandon, Crystal Escandon, and Abigail Escandon all of Marmaduke, Edurado Escandon of Texas. She was a pillar of strength and the heart of her family, creating a home filled with laughter and unconditional love. Her parents, Pedro and Isabella Alvarado Mireles, will forever remember her as their loving daughter who brought light into their lives. She was a beloved sister to Pedro Mireles Jr., Noe Mireles, Michael Steven Mireles, Billy Mireles, Leticia Moreia, and Lisa Hernandez. Sanjuanita's spirit will continue to shine in the stories and memories shared by her siblings. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bacilio Mireles. Sanjuanita's life was a testament to the power of friendliness and the joy of companionship. Her outgoing nature made her a friend to many, and her absence will be deeply felt by a host of special relatives and friends who were blessed to be part of her journey. Sanjuanita's interests reflected her love for life and people. She thrived on spending time with her family, creating unforgettable moments and traditions that will be cherished forever. Her laughter was contagious, and her presence could light up any room. Sanjuanita was the embodiment of a loving, funny, and friendly soul, and her spirit will continue to inspire those who knew her. As we say goodbye to Sanjuanita Mireles Escandon, we celebrate a life lived to the fullest, marked by an unwavering commitment to her family, her students, and her community. Her memory will be held in our hearts as a reminder of the profound impact one person can have through simple acts of love and kindness. Sanjuanita's story does not end here; it lives on in the lives of those she touched and in the laughter of the children she taught. May she rest in peace, knowing that her love continues to guide us. Visitation will be held on Saturday July 5, 2025 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the Irby Funeral Home in Rector. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm at the Irby Funeral Home.
