JONESBORO - Xhani Femera passed away peacefully at his home on July 3, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Our hearts are heavy, but rejoice knowing that he is no longer in pain and has been reunited with his beloved family.
We are deeply grateful for the presence Xhani had in our lives, for the treasured memories we shared, and for the enduring legacy he leaves behind.
Xhani Femera was born in Gjirokastra, Albania. His father, Haki Femera, immigrated to the United States as a child, but later returned to Albania as an adult to live out the rest of his life. Xhani spent his early years in Albania, where his passion for music led him to becoming an opera singer. After the fall of communism, Xhani discovered that his father was an American citizen. In 1993, inspired by the hope of a better life, he brought his family to the United States in pursuit of the American Dream. Once in America, Xhani became an entrepreneur, dedicating himself to the restaurant and commercial real estate industries. Xhani established his permanent roots in Blytheville. He was immensely proud of the community he lived in and the business, Olympia Steak House, that he built and the friendships he gained throughout his life.
Xhani was preceded in death by his loving parents, Haki Femera and Makbule Femera, as well as his sister, Hatixhe Como.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Krisanthi Femera, and his beloved children, George Femera, Haki Femera, and Pamela Femera Dickson. His daughter-in-law, Erica Femera, daughter-in-law, Whitney Femera, and son-in-law, Dennis Dickson. His cherished grandchildren; Alexandra, Ava, Zoe, Gianna, Johni, Elias, and Ethan. He also leaves behind his brothers; Shkembor Femera and Shahin Femera and sisters; Florenca Lesko, Kejdi Lici, and Vjollca Kurti.
Xhani's warmth, generosity, and spirit will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and all those who were fortunate to know him. His spirit will forever live in our hearts and will be forever loved in this life and the next.
A visitation service was held to celebrate his life on Tuesday, July 8, at Cobb Funeral Home. His funeral service will be today at 10 a.m. at Cobb Funeral Home. Following the funeral, the family will host a social gathering in honor of Xhani Femera at Olympia Steak House. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made in Xhani's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
