RANDY SEYBERT Obituary

RANDY SEYBERT 09/14/1954 - 06/23/2025 Randy "Warboss" G. Seybert, 70 of Lincoln, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, at The Mulberry at Waverly. He was born on September 14, 1954, in Syracuse to Andrew C. Seybert Jr. & Eula (Stoner) Seybert. Randy, known as "Warboss" by those in his gaming community, graduated from Syracuse High School and began his career with the Nebraska State Department of Roads. He later became the proud owner and operator of Gauntlet Games in Lincoln, where he built a welcoming space for tabletop gamers and enthusiasts. Most recently, he worked for the Nebraska State Liquor Commission. His passion for gaming extended far beyond the business--he built a vibrant community and left a lasting legacy in the lives of countless players and friends. He is survived by his daughter, Nykki Seybert; son, Josh Seybert; grandchildren, Jace, James, Garion, and Logan; great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Elli; and siblings, Corky, Terry, and Nancy. Randy was preceded in death by his parents and his infant sister, Diane Kay. A celebration of Randy's life will be held at Gauntlet Games, 3219 S 13th St., Lincoln, NE, on Saturday, July 12th from noon until 5 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
