Robert Baggott Obituary
February 9, 1948 - July 22, 2025
MOUNT PLEASANT - Mr. Robert E. Baggott, 77, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.
He was born in Racine on February 9, 1948, the son of the late Robert and Marcella (nee Leavy) Baggott. He graduated from St. Catherine's High School and received his teaching degree from UW Parkside. Bob also served with the Army National Guard.
Bob was an avid golfer, playing locally whenever he could, as well as traveling with his golf buddies. He also enjoyed cheering for the Chicago Cubs.
He is survived by his sister, Bridget (Hans) Weitkuhn; his brother-in-law, Dave Barden; as well as dear nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by sisters, Jane (Richard) Witt, and Jean Barden.
Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, for a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. A service celebrating and honoring his life will take place at 11 a.m. His interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Baggott was my Social Studies teacher at McKinley Jr. High (1980?). I´ve thought of him from time to time, as he was one of my favorite teachers, very patient and kind.

Haven´t seen him since I moved out of town in 1988. But we sure had fun way back when and especially when we would go to Madison for Badger football games. Yup, he was a good guy. RIP, Hobbie.
