Jean Louise Bradley, 94, of Batavia died July 14, 2025. Jean was born January 18, 1931 in Batavia, to Ragnar and Helen (nee. Heath) Carlson. Jean graduated from Batavia High School in 1948, and was united in marriage to Cyril Bradley at the Geneva Lutheran Church on June 24, 1950.
For several years in her youth, she was employed as an aid at Bellevue, and then as a secretary at the Campana Company, both located in Batavia, IL.
She is survived by her husband Cyril of Batavia IL; two children: Jan Bradley of Batavia IL and Timothy Bradley of Arlington Heights IL; nine grandchildren: Ben Bradley of Batavia IL, Olivia Stephano of North Aurora IL, Sean Bradley of Fort Myers FL, Erin Bradley of Cape Coral FL, Brittney Bush of Colorado Springs CO, Kellie Evensen of Glen Ellyn IL, Samantha, Kendra, and Michael Bradley of Aurora IL, and Jordan Bradley of Bloomington IN; and six great-grandchildren: Jake, Grayson, Hayden, Bryson, Ella, and Axl.
She is preceded in death by her siblings: Lois Miller, Arvilla Dalton, Mary Anna Ford, and Ron Carlson; her daughter Terry Bradley-Stephano, and son, Greg Bradley and her grandson Jeffrey Bradley.
Jean and Cyril celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary on June 24, 2025. Together they raised their four children, helped care for their grandchildren, and owned several pugs and a beloved parrot named Jax.
