Arthur LaMacchia Obituary
March 27, 1934 - June 25, 2025
Arthur (Art), beloved husband of Sharon LaMacchia, father to Lisa Thomsen, Gina Martin and David LaMacchia, step-daughters Dawn Gurtner, Debbie St. Clair, brother to Rocco LaMacchia, John LaMacchia and Rochelle Estill, and grandfather to Daniel Thomsen, Michael Thomsen and David Thomsen. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, leaving behind a rich legacy of love for family, the Green Bay Packers and making friends everywhere he went.
After graduating from Loras college in Dubuque Iowa, he entered the US Army, 25th division and was based in Hawaii until his discharge in 1958. Art had a long career in Sales that took him to Milwaukee and Green Bay WI and then the Chicago land area.
Art is survived by his loving wife Sharon of 33 years whose unwavering support and love brought him immense joy.

Art was my dad´s childhood friend right through college and into married Life. He was always fun at family get togethers, with an infectious laugh and great stories. His 1st wife Rose was a hoot as well, she taught my Irish mom how to make Spaghetti sauce. :)

I had the absolute pleasure of getting to know Art and his lovely wife Sharon through the restaurant where I worked. I served them for years, and they were always so kind, warm, and genuinely sweet. Art had a gentle spirit that made every visit special. He will be deeply missed, and my thoughts are with Sharon and the family during this time.
