Beatrice Herrmann Obituary

Beatrice "Bea" Herrmann

October 28, 1931 - July 6, 2025

Beatrice "Bea" (nee: Allie) Herrmann, 93, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Born on October 28, 1931, in Kenosha, WI, Bea dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her husband of 61 years, Paul, and their four daughters.

Bea's greatest joy came from spending time with her family and fostering a loving environment. Her holiday gatherings were eagerly anticipated by family and friends alike. Bea's love for nurturing things was evident in her beautiful gardens, which she lovingly tended for over four decades. She also enjoyed sewing and making many of the girls' clothes for special occasions along with some stunning outfits for herself. She was an avid card player and enjoyed playing with several card clubs made up of dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul; but is remembered with much love by her girls: Gretchen, Jenifer (Steve) Eroskey, Mary (Jack) Flynn and Ellie (Fred) Becker; and her six grandchildren.

Her funeral will take place Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home, 4600 County Line Road in Mt. Pleasant, with visitation at 10:00 a.m., followed by a service at noon. Interment and luncheon will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the American Macular Degeneration Foundation (AMDF) or The BrightFocus Foundation. Condolences Ellie. We never could figure out why our families were never connected with both families last names Herrmann's (double r double n). I lost my dad before Thanksgiving last year and we were both fortunate to have our parent or parents for as long as we did....prayers to you and all your families. God Bless

Thoughts and prayers with the Hermann family! Glad to know Bea was surrounded by her loving family. The Hermanns hold a special place as wonderful neighbors growing up next door in my childhood home. Fondly remember Jenny and her sisters as some of our favorite babysitters!
Much love to you all!

We were longtime neighbors on Crabapple Drive. Bea, and Paul AND their four daughters were a joy to us. Bea was generous in sharing her nursing skills when Drew broke his arm. For several years the girls were our frequent babysitters for sons, Tom and Drew. Later first Tom and then Drew helped with cutting their lawn weekly. We were blessed to know the entire Herrmann family.

I´m so sorry to hear of Bea´s death. I was a friend from high school and spent a lot of over nights at her home when we were in high school and beyond. We had so much fun together, and I will miss her! My condolences. Sincerely, Margaret (Fonk) Seitz
