Glenn Alan Prag

April 30, 1944 - June 29, 2025

Glenn Alan Prag, 81, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born on April 30, 1944, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Glenn lived a life marked by service, adventure, and quiet devotion to the passions he loved.

A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Glenn continued his service to others through his work as an X-ray technician at Lower Florida Keys Memorial Hospital. His kind demeanor and steady presence were a source of comfort to many patients over the years.

Glenn made his home in Key West, Florida, for more than 50 years, embracing conch island life with a passion for diving, boating, and tennis. He was also an active member of the bamboo society, reflecting his love for nature and unique interests.

Glenn was known for his honesty, his strong sense of integrity, and dignity with which he carried himself throughout life. He had a sharp sense of humor that brought laughter and lightness to those around him, even in the most ordinary moments. He also enjoyed working on projects, especially around his home.

He is survived by his beloved stepdaughter, Margaret Hallgren; stepgranddaughters Katherine Hallgren Smith, Jennifer Hallgren Blackstun, Carly Hallgren Shumway; and five great-grandchildren who brought him joy and pride in his later years.

Glenn will be remembered for his generous spirit and a life well-lived. His legacy lives on in the family he loved and in the many lives he touched through his work and friendship.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
