Jimmy Herrod Obituary

Jimmy Joe Herrod, 61, of Savannah passed away Thursday July 17, 2025 at his home in Savannah. He was born in St. Joseph on March 27, 1964 to Joe & Lauverta (Harmon) Herrod. He married Rhonda J. Hays in Branson, MO on November 10, 2019 and she survives of the home. Jimmy worked at Norris Quarries for over forty years and was very passionate about his career. He loved his family and the time spent with them. He enjoyed fishing, watching the Kansas City Chiefs, and Royals baseball. Survivors include his wife; son, Chris (Rachel) Herrod of Savannah; step-sons, Alex (Nichole) Fuller of Country Club, MO and James (Shyann) Fuller of Savannah; siblings, David Herrod of Savannah, Debbie (Ron) Neill of Savannah, Dennis (Cindy Leader) Herrod of Savannah, Tim (Cindy) Herrod of Savannah, and Sarah (James) Galbrith of Rea, MO; grandchildren, Hensley, Keaghan, Declan, and Cru. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Joey Herrod and Gary Herrod. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
