Mark Riley Obituary

Mark Alan Riley 62, of St Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. He was born May 31, 1962 in Iowa, son of Shirley (Wall) and Harvey Riley. Mark worked at American Walnut, and also spent many years working on his hobby of Sculpting. He was a talented Sculptor, creating many pieces of art. He also enjoyed studying history and wars. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Riley and Shirley (Riley) Punzo. Survivors include: his children, Marvin Reynolds of St. Joseph, Whitney Berry of St. Joseph, Erica Arredondo of Milan, MO, step-daughter, Lacey Bruce of St. Joseph, longtime companion, Gussie Reynolds, brother, Jesse David Riley of Salt Lake City, UT, step-sister, Cherie (Danny) Phillips of St. Joseph, MO, cousins, Kevin (Robin) Garvis of St. Joseph and Darryl (Gail) Garvis of Kansas City, MO, several grandchildren, and other extended family. Memorial Service will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Rupp Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday.
