So sorry to hear Walts passing. And we're out of town and couldn't make either. Our sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers for the family during this sorrowful time. He was the kind of neighbor (for us, just around the corner), that would drop everything to help and his knowledge of anything mechanical was absolutely astonishing. Remember one deer season our camper was broke down and him and Steve Oliver, took his 2 axle pop-up camper from Savannah to our farm in Grant City for us to use. They had it set up, right where I told them we'd put it. They done it all. Wouldn't take a dime for them hauling it up there or nothing. He said, it was an enjoyable trip to see country that he'd never seen before and being so close. He was a Wonderful friend and I know for me, the neighbors around us that we've lost, will be the greatest reunion ever. Walt is now reunited with his bride, Kathy, together again. Til we meet again my friend.

Walt was a mans man. From our high school days to lugging beef at Seitz with him he was truly a good man.
Sorry for your loss

Walt was an easy-going special person. We are cousins and early in our childhood we spent many different holidays together with our families.
Walt will be greatly missed by so many who knew him. Please accept my sincere condolences to Walt’s family and his loved ones. God received another angel to watch over us until we meet again.

I always enjoyed Walt’s visits to my Wilbert Plants. A true gentleman. I always knew the real work was about to happen when Walt flipped his hat around backwards- that was the sign you better get ready to watch a real man work.
