Penny Brunk Obituary

Mrs. Penny Sue Brunk, 73, passed away on Friday May 16, 2025, at the HCA Florida North Florida Hospital following an illness. She is the daughter of the late Maynard and Betty Sue Paxson Savage. She is preceded in death by her first husband Tom Thomley, one son Douglas Lender Brunk, Jr. and her son -in-law Michael Moody, Jr. and two grandchildren Duston Hall and Kevin Ogburn. Mrs. Penny had made Lake City her home for the past forty-five years after moving from Ohio. She worked over thirty years at the Holiday Inn. Mrs. Penny enjoyed spending time with her family, hunting and fishing, painting, working in her yard, taking cruises with her husband, baking and sewing.
Mrs. Penny is survived by her husband Ralph Medico, Lake City, FL; three daughters Daisy Ogburn, Lake City, FL; Angella Moody, White Springs, FL; and Sarah Dubois (David) Lake City, FL; her son David Medico, Lake City, FL; three brothers Thomas Savage, South, FL; Jerry Savage, Texas, and Robin Savage, OHIO one sister Nancy Smith, OHIO; and eight grandchildren and one great- grandchild also survive.
A memorial service for Mrs. Penny Sue Brunk will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Gateway-Forest lawn Funeral Home memorial chapel.
