Albert Myers Obituary

Crescent - Albert "Dean" Myers passed away on 7/19/2024. Dean was born on 8/28/1943 in Crescent, OK to Velma Marie (Wilson) and John Wendell Myers. Dean graduated from Crescent High School in 1962 and was honored as the 2012 Distinguished Alumnus. He continued his education at OSU with a BS and MS Degree in Trade and Industrial Ed. He married his high school sweetheart, Cheryl Reece on 3/19/1966. They have two children: Deidre and Aric.

In 1997 Dean was hired as the EVP of the OK Sheet Metal Contractor's Assoc in Oklahoma City. In 2008 he was selected as the George Nigh Outstanding Association Executive by the Oklahoma Society of Association Executives.

Throughout his life, Dean had a passion for flying, classic car restoration and horses. In retirement he expanded his equine business to breed and show paint horses. In 2010 he served as President of the Central OK Pinto Horse Association. That same year he had a filly that ranked in the "top ten in the world" in halter.

Dean was a lifelong resident of Crescent and participated in numerous community groups. Dean is survived by Cheryl, Deidre and Aric.
