There will be a graveside service at Resthaven Memorial Park on Friday, July 5th at 1:00 p.m. Ann was born January 9, 1941, to Margie and Clyde Sims in Stanton, Texas. She married Bobby Jenkins on December 27, 1957, in the Methodist Church in Stanton and they were married for 58 years. He preceded her in death on May 2, 2016. Ann took pride in being employed as a full- time homemaker raising two boys. Over the years she served in many capacities from helping at the local schools, candy striper at the local hospital and serving at Crestview Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, home crafts and being involved in projects with a passion for sewing. Ann and her sister Janice were known for enjoying time together from creating projects to canning vegetables from the garden. In later years, she greatly enjoyed just eating lunch and spending time with her sister Janice and husband Bobby Kelly who was the full-time chauffeur for the trio. She is survived by son, Denny and wife Jayle of May, Texas; son, Ron and wife Gayle of Eastland, Texas; granddaughter, Rylee Friesen and husband, Justin of Cleburne, Texas; grandson, Jeremy Tarter and wife Nancy of Midland, Texas; and five great-grandchildren Conner Friesen, Everly Friesen, Madilyn Friesen, Jordyn Tarter and Bella Tarter.
