AUBURN-Sean R. Collins, 52, of Auburn passed away Tuesday, July 19 in St. Vincent Hospital.
He leaves his son, Michael A. Collins of Auburn; his mother, Marilyn F. (Giguere) Collins of Worcester; his brother, Keith L. Collins of Holden and a nephew, Joseph K. Collins of Holden. He was born in Worcester, son of the late, Lawrence E. Collins. Sean graduated from St. Peter’s High School and Assumption College.
Sean owned and operated, Value Marketing Inc. a solar contracting company. He was a fun spirited guy who loved doing anything with his son, especially attending his sporting events. Sean was an avid sports fan of all the New England teams, especially the Bruins. In his youth he loved playing hockey and as he got older, he loved the game of golf, just recently joining Blackstone National Golf Club.
Visiting Hours are Sunday, July 24 from 2 to 5pm at Callahan Fay Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, July 25 at 10am in the North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Dr. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Jude Children Research Hospital c/o www.stjude.org
