David Kruppa Obituary
Dave worked for nineteen years at Co-Steel Raritan. He served as a director with the former Bodega Bay Fire Protection District. He had a passion for Civil War history and was a dedicated radio operator with the Coast Guard. His commitment to his community was evident through his volunteer work as a tutor with Bodega Bay School, his service with Food for Thought, and his support for Verity, a suicide hotline.
Dave was preceded in death by his mother, Estelle; his father, Louis; and his sister, Arlene. He is survived by his wife, Karen; sister, Leona; brother, Richard; his niece, Dee; his nephews, Richard Jr., Jim, and Michael; several grandnieces and nephews; his cherished cat, Caesar and many friends.
Donations in Dave's honor can be made to the Bodega Bay Fire Foundation, PO Box 1405, Bodega Bay, CA 94923.

David was one my most memorable students. His towering presence and deep voice always dominated the classroom. His mind was sharp! He was the best of students! And he always made me smile.
He was one of the first to call & express his sympathy & concern upon the death of my husband /also his teacher,Tom.
