Doris was a member of the Sea Turtle Preservation Society and that´s where I met her. She helped many baby turtles survive when they were picked up on the beach and dropped off in a box at Lori Wilson Park. God bless you, Doris

I've known Dori since we were freshmen together at the Colorado School of Mines. She was a pioneer there, and I'm going to miss her very much.

Doris was a colorful personality that made working with and knowing her as a friend a delightful unique experience every day. God bless.

I am so glad I was able to stay with Doris for the 3 months this winter. We talked a lot of her growing up in Papillion, her memories of family and life after high school. We laughed often and talked with tears about what was to come. We hugged as I left. It was difficult for us both. I had promised to return. Thank goodness I had the time with her while she was alive...as painful as it was for her. She was and will be...her faith was strong.

Doris was a great friend and classmate. I will remember her fondly as a "Sunshine Girls" member for 4H. She could sure sing. She had a contagious smile and crazy sense of humor. Most of my fond memories of high school include her.
