Elizabeth Ruilova Obituary
Born in La Paz, Bolivia Elizabeth lived a life filled with love, kindness, and devotion to her family. She was the beloved wife of Rene Ruilova, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage, and the cherished mother of their son, Allen, cherished grandmother to Nidahl and Yasmine Haddad, and great-grandmother to Mateo Haddad.
Elizabeth had a passion for travel, and together with Rene she visited numerous countries across Europe, South America and Asia, always eager to experience new cultures and ways of life. She loved to learn new languages, embracing each opportunity to broaden her perspective and connect with others.
When her health allowed, Elizabeth dedicated her time and energy as a volunteer at the Family Assistance Ministries and the Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens. Her commitment to giving back and her joy in community involvement reflected her generous heart.
She will be remembered for her warmth, curiosity, and the kindness she extended to everyone she met. Elizabeth's love of family, adventure, and learning left a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Elizabeth is survived by her devoted husband Rene, her son Allen, and many dear friends and extended family who will continue to honor her memory.
A celebration of Elizabeth's life will be held on September 27, 10am at Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano California. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Elizabeth will be deeply missed, but her love and legacy will live on forever in the hearts of those she touched.
