Howard Noonan Obituary

Howard Lyle Noonan passed away July 23, 2025 at his home In Florida he was 87 years old. He was born in Niagara Falls, New York the son of Kathleen and Carlos Noonan. Howard is pre-deceased by his brothers James and Robert and sisters Alice Atkinson and Rosemary Dawdy. He is survived by his wife Karen Krischan Noonan, son Gareth Noonan and son's wife Fiona and two grandchildren Annabel and Maxwell of London, England and by numerous nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Niagara Falls High School and Bowling Green University and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo and practiced dentistry in Amherst, New York. After his retirement in 2000 he moved to Youngstown, New York and Burnt Store Marina in Punta Gorda, Florida.

He loved to golf, ski, bike, kayak and sail and spent many happy days on the waters of Lake Ontario, Charlotte Harbor and the Caribbean. Among his many accomplishments Howard learned to play the flute and the piano in his retirement. A Memorial Service is planned in August. The family wishes to thank their friends and neighbors who provided love and support through Howard's illness.
