In Loving Memory of Ingeborg Maria Padar

October 13, 1940 – March 4, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ingeborg Maria Padar, who left this world on March 4, 2025, at the age of 84. Born in Deutsche Brode, Czech Republic, she grew up in Baesweiler, Germany, before building a beautiful life in Bowie, Maryland, with her devoted husband, George Padar. Together, they shared 59 years of marriage, filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Ingeborg was the heart of her family, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter Nicole Haroon, son Mike Padar, son-in-law Jay Haroon, daughter-in-law Jennifer Chan and four adored grandchildren, Gavin, Amelia and Nicholas Haroon and Brandon Padar. A woman of many passions, Ingeborg was an active member of the Andrew AFB Wives Club, the Ft. Myers Officer Wives Club and the German Wives Club, where she formed lifelong friendships and gave back to her community. As a lab technician at Cornell University, library researcher at University of Maryland, and a merchandiser at Wrigley Company, Ingeborg held jobs that suited her love for research and outgoing nature perfectly. Her love of gardening brought her endless joy, with roses holding a special place in her heart. Her home was always open, a welcoming haven where family and friends gathered, sharing good food, laughter, and heartfelt conversations. Ingeborg’s spirit will live on in the countless lives she touched. Her kindness, warmth, and zest for life will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Funeral service and celebration of life luncheon event details will be shared by the family shortly. Rest peacefully, Ingeborg. Your love and light will remain in our hearts forever.
