Joyce Carter Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 22, 2025.
Joyce Ellen Carter (Hall), born on November 21, 1957, Roseville, California, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children's love on July 17, 2025, in Auburn California. She was 67 years old.

Joyce's life was rooted in family and shaped by the many roles daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and best friend to many she embraced over the decades. Born to Stanley and Evelyn Hall, Joyce grew up in Folsom, California, alongside her sister, Lisa, and her brother, Mike. She lived most of her adult life and raised her children in Garden Valley, California.

Her legacy continues through generations: 3 children Daniel, Adam, and Jennifer; and 5 grandchildren. Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved father, Stanely Hall and her brother David Hall.

Throughout her life, Joyce was a lover of nature, animals, and mother earth. She loved a life of peace and quiet surrounded by the California foothills. May her memory bring peace and comfort to those she leaves behind. Her Celebration of life Services will be held on August 16, 2025, at the Marshal Grange @2pm in Garden Valley. The place she ALWAYS called home.

I wish I had some of Grandpa Halls pictures of us when we were kids. I´m happy we got to reconnect over the last couple of years. It was so nice to have someone with the same childhood memories of holidays at grandma & grandpas. I love you cousin and can´t wait to be in heaven with you, both our Daddys, and both our brothers, and my Mom. Until then `Happy Trails´

I love you mom. Forever and ever. I was blessed to spend the last days with you feeding you goodies and ice cream. I will always remember our Christmases as a kids, all the traditions, tree hunting, the bubble lights, I think of you often when I see gardens, or when Peyton and I are riding the horses wishing I could have let you go for one last ride. I was so blessed to have the trip at Yosemite with you and Peyton just a few short years ago. I'm so grateful you got to know your granddaughter and it was a very blessed time for us kids to have been there with you those last couple days as you drifted and left this earth to be with the Lord. Love all those animals and say hi to Grandpa and Jerry and all those with you in heaven mom. I love you, always.
