Judith Forsyth Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 11, 2025.
Judith Ann "Judy" Forsyth (née Pierce), age 68, passed away on August 12, 2025, in Indialantic, Florida, and surrounded by her family, from stage 4 lung cancer that was found too late. Born on November 27, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan, Judy lived a vibrant and compassionate life that touched countless hearts.

Judy dedicated much of her life to caring for others. As a Home Health Aide (HHA) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), she brought comfort and light to those navigating some of life's most difficult moments. Her natural ability to brighten someone's day and offer solace during suffering made her a beloved caregiver to many. Before entering the healthcare field, Judy enjoyed a successful career in real estate until the market downturn. She also worked various other jobs throughout her life-including at 7-Eleven-where her joy in meeting people and making them smile was always evident.

Her warmth extended far beyond her professional life. Judy had an infectious laugh and a magnetic personality that made everyone feel welcome. She was the life of every party, known for her enthusiastic demeanor and boundless optimism-even during her final days. Her love for music and entertaining others brought joy to many gatherings, especially during Thanksgiving and Christmas, which were her favorite times of year.

In recent years, Judy embraced a deeply spiritual path. Though not religious in the traditional sense, she believed profoundly in the power of love and acceptance. She practiced meditation, positive affirmations, and sought connection with God and her spiritual guides through peaceful rituals like watching the sunrise over the ocean with coffee in hand or participating in drum circles that celebrated universal love and togetherness.

Judy's generosity knew no bounds. She was known to sell nearly all her possessions just to travel across states to care for someone in need. Her selflessness was matched only by her wisdom-she offered heartfelt advice and guidance to those around her, often becoming a source of strength for friends and family alike.

She shared a lifelong bond with her daughter Sandra Brothers, with whom she weathered many storms. Their relationship was marked by unwavering support and deep mutual care, especially as Judy stood by Sandra through chronic illness. Judy also leaves behind her son Thomas Brothers; Sandra's fiancé Michael Smith; her brother Randy Pierce and his wife Mary; nieces Kelly and Donna Pierce; and many cherished friends who were drawn to her light.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frances and Louise Pierce; her brother David Pierce; and James Brothers-her ex-husband and close friend.

Judy also held a special place in her heart for her cats, Bunny and Monkey, who brought her comfort and companionship.

Judy's legacy is one of laughter, compassion, resilience, and unconditional love. May her memory bring peace to all who knew her.

My mom was my best friend I honestly don´t know what I will do without her. Since she left, the world around me became too quiet, too still. She was ways laughing. Always enjoying life. Always loving. Always giving. Its as if the world got cold the day she left us. She was my hero. I went through most of my life with her by my side. We were the two musketeers and the two peas in a pod. Wherever I went, she went. And when I was sick, she never left me in the cold. She took care of me. And then I had to take care of her. Our connection as mother and daughter was something people actually envied and talked about a lot. We were so lucky to have that connection. That bond. I will forever miss her. Im never ready to say goodbye.

We celebrate the light of your beautiful soul who graced this world with love and kindness. Though the earthly journey has ended, your spirit dances among the stars, guiding and blessing those who carry their memory. May their light continue to shine within us, reminding us of the beauty of love eternal.
