Kearby Elliott Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 10, 2025.
Kearby Harold Elliott passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025 at the age of 62. Kearby was always equipped and ready to help friends, family, and his community. He took pride in over 20 years of service as a paramedic in Van Zandt County and surrounding areas.

He is survived by his loving wife Lacy Elliott, his children Kolby Elliott (Amanda), Kirk Elliott (Hannah), Clara Lindeman (Jason), and Keeley Adams (Daniel), and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Kermit (1978) and mother Cora (2015).

He was born in Aransas Pass, Texas on March 14, 1963. His childhood in Aransas Pass instilled lifelong passions for martial arts, welding, building, and tinkering with anything on which he could get his hands. Kearby and Lacy have bonded over their mutual appreciation for country dancing, movies, workin' the farm, horseback riding, and long walks across the fields which they continued to share throughout their marriage.

At Community Christian Fellowship (CCF) church in Lindale, Texas a visitation will be held on Friday, July 11th from 6-8 PM and a celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 12th at 2:30 PM. All friends and family are welcome. The family asks in lieu of flowers, please send donations to the National First Responders Fund (nfrf.org).
