Kevlyn Hansen Obituary

Kevlyn (Kevi) Ann Hansen, age 66, cherished mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on July 4th , 2025, from injuries sustained from a fall in her home. She was born September 12th 1958 in Pocatello Idaho to Nile and Dorothy Hansen. Kevi graduated from Roy high school. Then she married Ron Roskelley and later divorced. Out of that union they had a son Christopher. She loved spending time with her niece and nephews. They would spend the night at her house getting in the hot tub, cooking and just having a blast! Although she never had any grandchildren of her own the tradition continued with her great nieces

and nephews.

Kevi worked for the internal revenue service for several years until her

retirement. She received several awards for her accomplishments there. She enjoyed her work and made many long-term friends. Kevi loved to travel. She learned to scuba dive and went to many beautiful places. She would also spend winters skiing and summers golfing and waterskiing. She had many talents she designed and made beautiful stained glassed art she gave to family and friends. She had a green thumb; she grew amazing plants in her house sometimes it looked like a jungle. She loved to go out in her backyard and enjoy gardening and nature. There would often be a mother quail, and her babies waddle by and the deer that would scamper through the yard. Kevi loved to cook she would often

make her famous bone broth and delicious lemon cake and share with family and

neighbors. She studied and became a certified Reiki master and loved collecting

crystals. She adored her little dog Chester, he was her constant companion, they did everything together.

She is survived by her three sisters Tammy Hansen, Marla, (Randy) Knickmeier,

Shelly Hendrickson and her dog Chester, Her niece and nephews: Ashley Hendrickson, Damon (Kaitlyn) Hendrickson, Jace (Alycia) Hendrickson, Kason Knickmeier, Kyler Knickmeier, Ryan (Kristen) Owens, Sloane, (Kim) Peterson her great nieces and nephews Carter, Owen, Ellie, Hendrickson, Mary -Jane, Rosemary, Penelope, Hendrickson. Carter, Luxi and Rylan Owens

She is proceeded in death by her parents Nile and Dorothy Hansen, her son

Christhoper Roskelley, and her brother-in-law Dale Hendrickson.

The family would like to thank her neighbors Shawn and Alley and Rita for

watching over Kevi for being so kind and caring. A celebration (open house) of her life will be held on August 23, 2025, from 12:00 to 4:00 P.m. at the Mendon City Station 95 North Main Street Mendon Utah.
