Kory Levoy Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 22, 2025.
Kory Steven Levoy passed away on May 20, 2025 in Yorba Linda, California.

He was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on May 7, 1956 to Louis and Sheila Levoy.

Kory was active in his community. He proudly served as the owner of Premier Enclosure Systems until his retirement and was involved in The Vistage Chapter, a Peer Advisory Group for CEOs and Business Executives. A natural and selfless leader, he was a reputed member of the Yorba Linda Mason Lodge #469 where he held multiple positions of higher leadership. He was awarded the prestigious Hiram Award for his contributions. He was also a member in good standing of Al Malaikah Shrine Temple. Kory attended Canyon Hills Presbyterian Church and was also a proud member of Mensa.

He was a dedicated devotee to his favorite sports teams, specifically the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the USC Trojans. He was perhaps most comfortable beyond his working hours proudly donning one of his many USC football jerseys and enjoying a flavored diet soda.

His greatest passion was undoubtedly his family and close friends. He enjoyed numerous sojourns around the world with his beloved wife of more than 28 years, Lynn. He took immense pride in his four children, their partners, his cherished grandchildren, and of course his precocious pup, Parker. Kory endeavored in his service to his family and dear friends. If those he loved were in need or want of anything, he would stop at nothing to provide it. Kory never sat still. Throughout his life he fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. He can now rest in peace.

Kory is survived by his wife Lynn, brother Scott, daughter Kristin (Kyle), step-sons Ryan (Justine) and Chad (Kristin), step-daughter Shannon (Ray) and grandchildren Decker, Beckett, Charlotte, Carter, Riley, Brooklyn, Taytum, Brady, Tori and Avery.

Family and friends will gather to remember Kory on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 3pm at Canyon Hills Presbyterian Church in Anaheim. A reception will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, Kory's family has requested that donations be made to:

or

I met you at one of the mixers at the Lodge several years ago. You were a great guy and you will be greatly missed. Wherever you are now, Fight on fellow Trojan.

One thing that sticks out for me is how much Kory loved Lynn and his devotion to her. An amazing love story and a wonderful couple to be around. You could easily see their genuine fondness and respect they had for each other. And, they had fun together!
