Leonard Steverson Barry Obituary

Was born in Harlem N.Y. on November 10th 1952 he was 72 years old. Leonard known as Stevie passed away on February 17th 2025 in Hemet, California. He was loved by many people whom he helped - many times without expecting anything in return. Stevie and all his family originated in the Bahamas where good food, family, friends and good times were always welcome. Stevie was known mostly of his love for fishing, the outdoors and expertise in repairing cars. He will be forever remembered and always missed. He was known for his sensational laugh that touched your soul. He had a great singing voice like his father. Rest in Peace Dear friend, Son, Uncle and Brother. There is no one like MR. BARRY!!!!!!!

Stevie is survived by his daughter Din Di (Gingi) Barry, Rachel Stephens, her four children and thirteen grandchildren, Candace Schulz and son, Sister Dr. Sharon Sohmer, his mother Carnetta McGhee, and a host of family in the Bahamas, five nieces, Carolyn Hepburn, Cora Ferguson, Cynthia Walker, Cathrine Neely, and Ceila Imlach and their children. Hundreds of Cousins, Uncles, Aunts and Relatives. The Viewing will be at San Jacinto Valley Mortuary 250 S. State St. in San Jacinto CA 92583 on Monday March 17th from 3 to 7 PM. The service will take place at the same location on Tuesday March 18th at 12 to 1:30 PM. The burial will be at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery 2555 S. Santa Fe Ave. San Jacinto 92583 at 2 PM.
