Linda Elliott Obituary
Born on July 9, 1947, in Dallas, Texas, Linda was the daughter of JB and Elsie Vaughn. She was a loving mother, devoted wife, and faithful friend. On September 25, 1965, she married the love of her life, Doug Elliott. Their nearly 60-year marriage was a true partnership-an inspiring testament to loyalty, resilience, and unwavering devotion. Through decades of life's joys and challenges, Doug and Linda stood hand in hand, building a life marked by mutual respect and deep affection. Their bond was not only the heart of their family but also a shining example of what love can be when nurtured with patience and grace.
Together, they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and faith. Linda was a proud mother to her son, Jeff Elliott, and daughter, Debbie Davis. Though Jeff preceded her in death, his memory remained close to her heart.
One of Linda's greatest joys in life was being a grandmother. She treasured every moment spent with her granddaughter, Megan Davis, and grandson, Carson Davis. Her bond with them was one of laughter, encouragement, and unconditional love-memories they will carry with them always.
She is survived by her loving husband, Doug Elliott; daughter, Debbie Davis, and son-in-law, Teddy Davis; her beloved grandchildren, Megan Davis and Carson Davis; and her brother, Mike Vaughn, and his wife, Debra.
Linda's life was shaped by the memories of those who went before her-her parents, JB and Elsie Vaughn; her sisters, Sherry Keen and Janey Campbell; and her beloved son, Jeff Elliott.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 3, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Heritage Baptist Church, 1200 S. Hwy. 156, Haslet, TX 76052. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Linda's honor: http://act.alz.org/goto/Linda_Elliott.
