Springfield - Lois Annette (Crane) DeAngelis, 78, died of natural causes on August 30, 2024.

She was born on August 15, 1946, in Hudson, Michigan to Mary & Edward Lee Crane. She married Gary Anthony DeAngelis on January 20th, 1966 in Biloxi, MS.

Lois served in the U.S. Air Force 1964-1966. Her time in the military was a formative chapter that introduced her to Gary & provided many stories.

Lois obtained a CNA certification from Lane Community College, working 10 years as a CNA in area nursing facilities & private duty work.

Lois found joy in watching her children and grandchildren play sports. Her love extended into the garden and kitchen as well-she nurtured plants with care and baked with heart.

Lois was an avid viewer of "Dancing With The Stars", enjoyed discussing current events & what family members were up to. She was a member of St. Alice Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son Tom DeAngelis and his wife Grace; daughters Mary Sharma and her husband Dev, Kim DeAngelis, and Christina DeAngelis; granddaughters Sierra Sharma, Savannah Sharma, Kaylyn Holmes, and Bristol DeAngelis; sisters Elizabeth Daniels and Claudia Crane; brothers Ralph Crane and Ted Crane.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gary DeAngelis; parents Edward Lee Crane and Mary Marguerite (Bristol); and sister Nancy Crane.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on July 16, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home 7305 Main St.
