Malcolm Foster Obituary

Feb. 10, 1941 – Mar. 20, 2025

Born in Winnfield, LA, Malcolm Foster 84, left this world with grace and grit after a courageous battle with cancer.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Kathy Simms Foster, and their loyal fur-baby, Bo, who never left his side during hospice. He was father to three children: Lori and Olin Foster (San Diego, CA), from his first marriage to the late Velta Johnson, and Caleb Foster from his second marriage to the late Debbie Bateman. He was a proud grandfather to Skylar Jo Foster.

Also surviving are his sister Linndale Lindsey (Robinson, TX) and her sons Tracy and Scott; his brother Bruce Foster and sister-in-law Linda (Shreveport-Bossier, LA), and their daughters Brea, Melissa, and Summer.

Malcolm was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Clara Bates-Foster; foster sister, Susan Gibbs-Evans; and brother-in-law, Herbert Lindsey.

Malcolm excelled in track and field at Byrd High School, and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy. In March 1973, his custom "Bayou Harley" was featured in Chopper Magazine. Driven by his passion for Harley Davidson's, tinkering, and making things go faster, he founded American Racing Services in Oklahoma City.

Malcolm will be remembered for his love of speed, competitive nature, adventurous spirit, enduring strength, and deep love for God, family, and country. He left a lasting impression on anyone who met or knew him.

Per his wishes, no service was held. In his final act of generosity, he donated his body to University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center for cancer research. His remains will be cremated.
