When I first saw the name "Megan Trainer," I couldn´t help but wonder-wait, the Meghan Trainor? Did the pop star leave Hollywood behind to join the Fed? It gave me a good laugh and made her instantly memorable. But as I got to know Megan, I quickly realized she was a star in her own right.
We met during an exam-we worked together, supported each other, and over time, a friendship quietly grew. I got to learn about her life before the Fed, her incredible dedication to her work, her family, and especially her children. She was always genuine, always kind, and always brought a sense of calm with her-truly a breath of fresh air.
We were even planning a retirement party together for a colleague. She offered to chip in and told me, "Well, I don´t have Venmo or PayPal, but I´ll ask my son to send you the money." That was just her-straightforward, thoughtful, and always willing to help, even if it meant a little workaround.
Megan had this quiet strength and warmth that stayed with you, and I know I´ll always remember her for that. My heart goes out to her family-I hope her legacy of kindness and sincerity lives on in her children and all of us who were lucky enough to know her.
May she rest in peace.
And for the record-she might not have been that Meghan Trainor, but she definitely made our lives a little more "All About That Grace."

Megan was the BEST daughter, sister, aunt, mother, and friend. I looked up to her so much! Our hearts are broken with her passing but we know our dad was there to lift her up when she passed. I miss her so much already!

My thoughts are with Megan´s family and loved ones during this heartbreaking time.
Megan was not only a remarkable colleague, but also a truly wonderful person-kind, dedicated, and full of quiet strength. She touched the lives of so many, both in and out of the workplace. She will be deeply missed by many, but forgotten by none who had the privilege of knowing her.

My deepest sympathy. I worked with Megan at the Federal Reserve before I retired in 2022. I just heard about her passing. I´m very sorry for your loss. Megan was a great woman, a wonderful human being, and a dedicated colleague. I pray you will find comfort in the memories you shared. I will remember her fondly and pray for your family.
