Patricia Ashmore Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 23, 2025.
Patricia Ashmore, 60, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away on March 10, 2025, in Sun City. She was born on February 27, 1965, to Thomas C. Harrigan and Kathleen J. Harrigan (Foy) in Hoboken, New Jersey.

Patricia attended Teaneck High School before earning her GED and later pursued further education at Glendale Community College beginning in the fall of 1997. In 2014, she married Robert Ashmore at Covenant of Grace Christian Fellowship.

For over 30 years, Patricia dedicated herself to caring for others, including her late daughter Amity Harrigan. She worked as a jail ministry coordinator for Fountain of Hope Ministry from 2006 to 2011 and as an HCBS Direct Care Provider for United Cerebral Palsy from 2008 to 2023. During the 1990s, she devoted much of her time to volunteer work, assisting the homeless and disadvantaged through Fountain of Hope and Covenant of Grace's food and clothing bank. She was also a member of Covenant of Grace Christian Fellowship Church.

Patricia cherished time spent with family and friends. She had a love for card games and mystery stories such as Nancy Drew. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and she especially enjoyed celebrating the holiday season. Patricia will be remembered for her generous nature and loving personality. She would always lend a helping hand to anyone she could.

She is survived by her spouse of nearly 11 years, Robert Ashmore; her daughter Nina Pahlck of Phoenix, Arizona; her mother Kathleen J. Harrigan (Foy) of New Milford, New Jersey; her sister Kathleen Miller (Harrigan) of New Milford, New Jersey; and two brothers, Thomas Harrigan Jr. of New York City and Daniel Harrigan of Weatherly. She is also survived by her grandchildren Maylin and Faye. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas C. Harrigan, and her daughter Amity D. Harrigan.

A memorial service will be held on April 5, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. at Covenant of Grace Christian Fellowship, located at 906 W Peoria Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85029. The service will be officiated by Pastor Leonard and Sharon.

Patricia's kindness and dedication to helping others will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

Forever in our hearts

Victor Barajas Bravo

March 26, 2025

Dear Nina,

In these moments of deep sorrow, I want you to know that you are not alone. The love you feel for your mom Trish and your sister Amity is a reflection of the love they had for you. Although they are no longer physically by your side, their presence lives on in every memory, in every shared laugh, and in every moment you lived together.

I fondly remember those days when I built a little house for you to play with Krystal, and how your mom Trish was always there, with that warm smile and a heart full of love. I also remember that photo I took of you with Pebbles, your cat, when you were a little girl. Those moments, though they may seem small, are treasures we hold in our hearts, reminding us of the beauty of life and the love we shared.

Nina, I know the pain you feel now is immense, but I also know that you are a strong and loving person. Your mom and sister would be proud of you, of the woman you are, and of the light you continue to bring into the world. Even though they are no longer here to hug you, their love will always be with you, guiding and protecting you.

With all my love and respect, I dedicate these words and this poem to you, so you know that although the pain is great, the love we share is even greater.

**Poem for Trish and Amity**

In the garden of memory,
where time stands still,
your laughter blooms, Trish,
and Amity's dreams,
like stars in the night,
lighting our path.

Nina, in your eyes,
I see the reflection of their love,
a love that never leaves,
that is always present,
like the wind that caresses,
like the sun that warms.

Amity, your sister,
with her contagious butterfly kisses.
and Trish, your mom,
with her eternal embrace,
walk beside you in silence,
in every step you take.

Though pain may embrace you,
and tears may fall,
remember that their love,
is a beacon in the darkness,
guiding you toward the light,
toward the peace you deserve.

Nina, you are not alone,
in every memory, in every dream,
Trish and Amaty are with you,
in the beating of your heart,
in the strength of your soul,
in the love that never dies.

With all my love,
Victor Manuel Barajas Bravo.
