Rhonda Renee Henderson, of Glencoe formerly of Fargo, Hutchinson and the Arlington area, died at the Grand Meadows Health Facility in Glencoe, MN on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, October 26, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church 20199 385th Ave. Green Isle, MN 55338 in Sibley County. Visitation will be Friday, October 25, from 4:00 p.m. ~ 7:00 p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington and one hour prior at the church the morning of the funeral.

Rhonda was born on May 25, 1961, in Gaylord, MN to Raymond and Janet (Schauer) Schwartz. She grew up in the Arlington area and graduated from Arlington-Green Isle High School in 1979. She graduated from technical college in Fairbault, MN. She worked as a lab tech in Glencoe hospital. She moved to Fargo, ND and graduated from the North Dakota State University with a degree in social work. She worked a short time in the social services field and returned to being a lab technician in Fargo, ND, and then Hutchinson, MN. Rhonda married Bruce Bruers at Zion Lutheran Church in Green Isle in 1982. After his death in 1984 she later married Larry Henderson at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Glencoe, MN in 1997. Larry died later that same year.

She enjoyed reading, collecting figurines and Terry Redlin paintings and gifting some of them to friends and relatives. Rhonda was involved with lots of charity work such as World Vision, St. Jude Hospital and several cancer organizations. She volunteered a lot at the churches she attended over the years. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Her nieces and nephews were especially important to her. She was a very generous person to all.

She is survived by her mother, Janet Schwartz of Arlington, MN, brothers; David Schwartz of Glencoe, MN, Paul Schwartz of Topeka, KS and Dale (Julie) Schwartz of Green Isle, MN. She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond, infant brother Mark, husbands Bruce Bruers and Larry Henderson.
