Shelia Williams Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 14, 2025.
Ms. Shelia Evette Williams, 60, passed away on August 26, 2025, in Houston, Texas. Born on December 06, 1964, in Omaha, Nebraska, Shelia brought warmth and light into the world from her very first day.

A proud graduate of Omaha Central High School, Shelia carried the values of her Midwestern upbringing with grace and strength throughout her life. She eventually made Houston her home, where she lived surrounded by faith and love.

Shelia was a devoted Christian whose unwavering faith guided every step of her journey. She regularly tithed to a local church in Houston and found deep meaning in her spiritual life. Her loyalty was steadfast and sincere, shining through in every relationship she nurtured. Those who knew her felt the power of her unconditional love and kindness.

Her compassion extended to animals as well, especially cats. Over the years, Shelia cared for many feline companions who brought joy into her life and reflected the gentle spirit she shared so freely with others.

Shelia is lovingly remembered by her brother, Mr. Eric Williams, and her sister, Ms. Williams. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice M. (Crooms) Hagler, and her father, Mr. Percy Williams.

Her memory is beautifully echoed in the words of 1 Peter 4:8-10: "Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins... As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another." These verses reflect the very essence of how Shelia lived-a steward of grace and love.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her and serve as a lasting reminder of a life filled with faith, loyalty, and compassion.

Shelia this has been a hard pill to swallow. 19 years of knowing you has been amazing. The most funniest, caring and loving person I know. Your smile, your laugh and personality will always be remembered. I love you so much. Your heart was big and for that I know God welcomed you with open arms. You´re truly missed. I love you so much.
