Georgianne "Pinky" Schroeder, 76, of Trail Creek passed away at her home in Trail Creek on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Queen of All Saints Church with Rev. Jordan Fetcko, officiating. Viewing will be held on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Legacy Center at Queen of All Saints Church.
The Root Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Georgianne was born Oct. 15, 1948, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Robert and Evelyn (Botka) Kulwicki.
She met her loving companion and soulmate, Louis Sobecki, at a Parents without Partners Dance in 2002 in South Bend. She loved to dance the night away with Louis. Their union with God has been blessed. He is surviving in Trail Creek.
Also surviving are two sons, Scott (Annette) Haverstock of Rolling Prairie and Ryan (Erin) Haverstock of La Porte; three cherished grandchildren, Kyler, Jonah and Archer; two brothers, Jeff Kulwicki of Hudson Lake and Greg (LouAnn) Kulwicki of Murfeesboro, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Stephanie Kulwicki of New Carlisle; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister in law, Vicki Kulwicki; and one brother, Steve Kulwicki.
Georgianne was a retired accounting manager for Bernell Corporation in Mishawaka, Indiana.
She attended Queen of All Saints Church and was a member of the auxiliary at VFW Post 2536 and Skwiat American Legion Post 451. She was a volunteer worker with Catholic Charities building wheelchair ramps, United Way and an active volunteer with the Sacred Heart Food Pantry. She loved to spend her time sewing, camping, going on road trips and painting. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Scott & Ryan , I´m deeply so sorry for the loss of your Mom she was loved by everyone . May she rest in peace now . She will be really missed by all of Us . Hard to lose Ur Mom . May God keep you safe. She´s flying high over all of your love you all Ur Cousin Deb & KayLee Weisenberger .
