AUGUSTA — Beverly Hope Moorhead Hay, 87, of Frogtown, Kentucky, went to her Heavenly home, Saturday, July 5, 2025.
She was born on July 27, 1937, to the late Clyde Vincent "Mose" and Marjorie Bowman Moorhead. She was a lifelong member of St. James Catholic Church and a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt.
She is survived by her children, Jerry (Terri) Hay, David Hay, Gary (Sharon) Hay, Carla Hay Hampton Padgett (Dennis Dice), Sara Hay Fryman (Jamie Bell), Brian Hay (Ann Honan), Brent (Rhonda) Hay, grandchildren, Angie (Chris) Dawson, Shawn (Jennifer) Hay, Stephanie (Joseph) Jefferson, Megan Hay, Nickolas Hay, Hayley Hay Clark (Cameron), Leah Padgett (John Hudson), four great grandchildren, Kaleigh Woods, Kade Jefferson, Jaxon Jefferson, Thea Kate Jefferson, and one great-great-granddaughter, Oaklynn DeArmond.
Along with her Parents, she was proceeded in death by her Husband of 70 years, Stanley P. "Sonny" "Poppy" Hay, daughter, Paula Hay Insko, two granddaughters, Shannon Lynn Hay and Erin Makensie Hay Youngman (Ashley), Son in law, Gary Hampton, and a brother, Jimmy Moorhead.
Visitation will be held from 9 - 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2025. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, Brooksville.
Burial will be held at St. Patrick Cemetery, Washington, Kentucky.
Memorials are suggested to St. Patrick Cemetery Fund, 110 E 3rd St., Maysville, KY 41056 or in the form of Memorial Masses in care of St. James Catholic Church, 122 Garrett Ave., Brooksville, KY 41004.
Metcalfe-Hennessey Funeral Home will be serving the family.
