MARY COOPER Obituary

MARY COOPER Mary P. Cooper, 86, of Hannibal, Ohio, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025, at WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, W.V. She was born July 10, 1939, in New Martinsville, W.V., a daughter of the late Edward and Zola Lazear Sidenstricker. Mary was a homemaker, a member of Zion United Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school. Mary volunteered at Wetzel County Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, David J. Cooper; grandson, Toby Ollom; granddaughter, Maryella "Dany" Ollom; three brothers, Pete, Dean and James Sidenstricker and a sister, Shirley Gilmore. Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly (Steven) Ollom of Clarington, Ohio; brother, Ronald (Linda) Sidenstricker of Sardis, Ohio; sister, Diane (Scott) Alexander of Albemarle, N.C.; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Graveside services were held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Zion Memorial Gardens, State Route 536, Sardis. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Memorial Gardens Cemetery Fund.
