Frank Ray Obituary

Mr. Frank Quentin Ray, age 89, of Gainesville, formerly of Marietta, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025.

Mr. Ray was a veteran of the United States Air Force and had worked as a corporate pilot, Cobb County Police Officer, and as a representative of the Federal Aviation Administration.

He was a Godly and Loving Man and is survived by his wife of 66 years, Judith Ann Ray; son, Patrick Timothy Ray; daughter-in-law, Soi-Kiew Ray; granddaughter, Patricia Grace Ray; grandson, Sean Patrick Ray; sister, Denise Laverne Faulkner; nephew, Lawrence Shane Faulkner; niece, Tara Denise Faulkner.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 23 at 11 AM in the Historic Chapel of Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Jones officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends between the hour of 10 until 11 AM Friday at the funeral home.
