Carolyn Patrick Obituary

Ontario - Carolyn Gail Patrick, 84, of Ontario, died on September 23rd, with her best friend, Rebecca Price, by her side. Carolyn wanted a Party, so a Celebration of Life, will be on October 19, 2024 at 3:00 pm at the Boulevard Grange in Ontario, OR. Followed by a dinner. She wanted everyone to bring their best Carolyn story to tell.

Carolyn was born November 27, 1939 in Great Falls, Montana to Clifford and Irene Hunter Daniels. She was raised at the Montana Power Dams, which included Ryan, Rainbow, Kerr and Houser. She was a "dam" kid. She started school in Great Falls, and then to Polson and Black Eagle. She graduated from Great Falls High School in 1957. She attended Montana State College (University) and graduated in Elementary Education.

She married Robert Patrick on September 15, 1960, they later divorced but had 2 son's, Wyatt (deceased) and Bart.

Her first teaching job was in Belgrade MT, then to Valdez and Fairbanks Alaska, she survived the great earthquake of Valdez on March 27, 1964, though she lost several of her class, including 5 fathers, 1 whole family, 1 teacher and his 2 sons. They then moved to Federal Way, Washington where she taught at Lakewood in Tacoma.

She was very fortunate to travel the world and she loved to cruise. She was a 58 Year member of the Order of Eastern Star and a member of Electa Chapter in Emmett Idaho and Golden Rule Chapter in Ontario, Oregon. She was a Grand Officer in both states, twice in Idaho and once in Oregon. She also belonged to Amaranth and Daughters of the Nile. She was a 55+ year member of Beta Sigma Phi. She had her private pilot's license.

She is survived by her son Bart of Boise, Wyatt's two daughters, Nicole (Landon) Green of Jonesboro Arkansas and their children, Emma, Conner and Ellis, and Jessica (Eric) West of Jonesboro Arkansas and their children Isla and Miles. Her best friends and cruise mates, Denis and Rebecca Price.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Jean Wilson.
