Gail Jordan Obituary

The Jordans were our Emmett neighbors on Riverside street in the 1950s. Gail was my younger brother (George) EHS classmate. Steve and I graduated in 1948. Both were talented musicians. Their parents were very active square dancers.

He was the last of the good old boys. He always had a smile for me when I could not seem to find my own. He was a quite the lady's man always so handsome and charming . Him an spark his brother my granddad always had a good Irish story to tell. Trouble makers in their youth . He lived more life in a minute than most people dare in a lifetime. He never judged me. Always welcomed me with open arms. He told me 2 days before he died that he hoped I knew how much he loved me . He said Annie im proud of you ! I know how hard it's been for you being the outcast or black sheep so to speak . You hide it well kid and then he smiled and hugged me tight. Nothing in this world feels like a uncle gail hug. God how im gonna miss having you here. I'm so glad we got pretty close these last few years. You saw me for me . Thanks for being one of a kind ..... True Jordan blood !!!!
