Harriet Anderson Obituary

Harriet was born in Waterloo, MT. She graduated from Millwood High School in Spokane, WA and went to the University of Washington where she met Duane Anderson. They were married in June 1956 and headed east. They headed back to the west coast in 1961 where they raised two daughters. Harriet went back to college in the early 70's to finish her Bachelor's Degree and teaching credential. She taught at Presentation High School in San Jose for 20 years. After retirement they moved to Gilroy where they were docents at Gilroy Gardens and members of Gilroy Presbyterian Church.

She died peacefully at Sierra View Homes in Reedley, CA on Monday, June 2, 2025. She is survived by her two daughters and son-in-laws: Kathie and Curtis Murray and Donna and Tim Hutcheson; her sister, Carol Covert; five grandchildren: Alex, Kyle and Evan Mulch and Samuel Hutcheson and Nicole Hutcheson Sandoval; and five great-grandchildren: Harley and Lane Mulch, Reagan and Michael Hutcheson and Harper Sandoval.
