Anneliese Hyde Obituary

Anneliese Hyde
07/23/1934 - 06/29/2025
Anneliese Martha Hyde, 90 of Marble Falls, Texas, passed away on June 29, 2025, at the Scott and White Hospice Care Center in Temple, Texas. Born in Konigsberg, Germany, July 23, 1934. Daughter of Gustav and Martha Kozik Parschat. She was a graduate of Diakonie Seminar Zehlendorf, Berlin with a bachelor's degree in nursing. After receiving her nursing degree, she immigrated to the United States and worked as a nurse at Somerville Hospital in New Jersey. Shortly after, she met Charles Hyde and was married on September 05, 1959, in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
Anneliese served 8 ½ years as director for District 2 on the Midland County Hospital District board. Her priority was the patient. She believed the hospital should run efficiently, the facilities kept spotless, and the standard of care ran at the highest level. She made a significant and lasting contribution to the hospital with her leadership in the implementation of Universal Health Precautions. These precautions have limited or stopped the spread of infectious diseases to other patients and staff. This has saved many lives and prevented much suffering.
Anneliese was a member at Midland Lutheran Church for 52 years and served in many capacities. After moving to Marble Falls, Texas, she attended St. Peter's Lutheran Church. At Midland Lutheran, she founded "The Patio". Alzheimer's patients could stay for the afternoon while their caregivers could leave and devote some time to themselves.
She was the ultimate "Haus Frau" in addition to her professional achievements. She was an accomplished and knowledgeable cook, housekeeper, and hostess. She was a member of the Symphony Guild of Midland, many PTA groups, and the Midland Garden Club.
Anneliese loved growing and caring for plants and flowers. Her patio and yard was always full of blooming flowers of all kinds. She loved animals and always had a pet dog by her side.
Her love was centered around her husband of 59 years, and two sons, Mark and Christian. After the experience of raising two boys, she was excited to finally have a little girl in the family when her granddaughter, Aliese, was born. Aliese, Josh, Mason, Case and little Anneliese were her pride and joy. She was loved by many.
Also remaining to cherish Anneliese's memory are her two brother in laws Rudy and Randy Hyde, her beloved nephew Hulon "Barry" Hyde who checked on her several times each week; Linda Humphrey, her close home caregiver; Chuck and Denise Mezger, her beloved neighbors; William Hyde, her grandson; her son Mark Hyde; daughter in law Andra Hyde as well as many cherished nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents Gustav and Martha Kozik Parschat; brother, Gunter Parschat; husband, Charles Hyde, and her son Christian Hyde.
A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2025, at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 1803 RM 1431, Marble Falls, Texas 78654. Visitation at 2:30 p.m. with refreshments in the fellowship hall following the funeral service.
Memorial donations may be directed to Scott & White Hospice Care, Temple, Texas and to Dog's, Inc., 4210 77th Street East, Palmetto, Florida 34221. Dog's Inc. trains service dogs for people with vision loss and veterans with disabilities.

For 20+ years, Annalise and family were our next-door neighbors in Midland Texas.
I remember only joy and laughter as we sat visiting on her front yard bench, during warm summer afternoons.
I missed her when she moved, and we visited on the phone. Now I will keep her in my prayers, and have Masses said for the family.

Mark, praying that God will send his love and grace to comfort you and the family during this difficult time. Ann and I have been prayer warriors for many years. I will miss this remarkable lady and all the times we had together during visits and phone calls. She has left behind a lasting. legacy. Love you our precious friend.

Mark, I´m so sorry to hear about your mom. I heard recently that Christian passed away, also. You and your family will be in my prayers.
