Peggy McDonald, age 85, of Scotts Hill, TN passed away peacefully at her home on May, 5, 2025.

She was born January 8, 1940 in Ovalo, TX to the late John L. Bryson and Elva May Dick Bryson.

Peggy worked most of her life in the home healthcare business. Her passion was helping and working with others in need of assistance. She enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, M. J. McDonald, of Scotts Hill, TN; 2 daughters, Jill Hisbrook, of Scotts Hill and Jana McDonald, of OK: a son, James McDonald, of Scotts Hill; 2 sisters, Jean McFaran, of NM and Margaret Allison, of FL; a brother, James Bryson, of MS; 14 grandchuildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Jay Kevin McDonald and Jason McDonald as well as her parents.

Ms. Peggy donated her body selflessly in death to medical scientific study in order to assist with research that might help others.
