Adele "Babe" Gibson Obituary
Babe was proceeded in death by her husband of 62 years, Bob Gibson in 2018, her father Tony Puhar in 1981, her mother Adele Puhar in 1995 and her sister Barbara Radovich in 2012.
Babe enjoyed serving others and for many years made her banana bread for the homeless and needy through her church, Sierra Bible Church. She also made many quilts and distributed then to the same outlets. Her family was so important to her, they loved her cooking and spending time together at her Lake Almanor summer home. She was well loved and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Babe is survived by her son Jed Gibson and daughter in law Lisa of San Leandro, son Clay Gibson of Stockton, Granddaughter Jennifer Rhodes and her husband David of Las Vegas, NV, Grandson Joshua Gibson of Redding, Grandson Grant Gibson of Stockton, Granddaughter Kelli Karpinski and her husband Josh of Stockton, Great-Granddaughters Hadley and Everly Gibson of Redding and Olivia Karpinski of Stockton and niece Cheryl Banducci and her husband Jim of Modesto.
At her request, a family gathering and spreading of her ashes has taken place. Her faith was one of the most important parts of her life, at her request, donations may be made to: Sierra Bible Church in Sonora, CA or Lake Almanor Community Church in Lake Almanor, CA.
