Adilene Diaz-Solorio, a lifelong resident of Watsonville, passed away unexpectedly on June 18, 2025. She was 23.
Adilene was born on August 14, 2001, in Watsonville, to her proud parents, Efrain Diaz Robles and Ernestina Solorio. She grew up in Watsonville and attended local schools. She was a very happy, kind, and respectful person. She was beautiful, inside and out, with her sparkling eyes and huge smile that could light up a room. She enjoyed listening to all kinds of music, doing her makeup, especially getting her lashes done, and dressing up. Above all, Adilene loved being a mother to her three beloved children.
Adilene is survived by her loving husband of 2 years, Jesus Medel, her three children, Guillermo, Jaziel, and Zaylani, as well as her mother, Ernestina Solorio, and three brothers, Efrain, Rudy, and Jonas. She was preceded in death by her father, Efrain Diaz Robles.
A viewing and rosary will be held at the Diaz-Solorio residence – 156 Elm Street, on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 1:00 pm with the rosary starting at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church – 2401 E. Lake Avenue, on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 10:00 am, with the burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery – 2445 E. Lake Avenue, at 11:00 am. All events in Watsonville.
