Armand J. "AJ" Benoit, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at the age of 79. He is the beloved and loving husband of the late Corazon Manguerra Benoit. Son of the late Joseph E. Benoit and Odile E. Benoit. Loving father of Armand J. Benoit, Jr. and Blaine Benoit (Lisa Benoit). Proud grandfather of Armand J. Benoit, III (Trey), Eden Alyssa Benoit, Marley Danielle Breaux, Jacob Blaine Benoit, Jackson Elias Benoit and Joshua Ryan Benoit. Beloved great grandfather of Addison Benoit. Brother of Evans Joseph Benoit, Elizabeth Benoit, Paul Franklin Benoit, Preston Michael Benoit, Cecile Marie Benoit Dietrich and Raymond James Benoit. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to AJ's Caregivers, Pamela Benoit Danos and Timothy A. Danos for their love and care given. He was born in Harvey, Louisiana and was a resident of Marrero, Louisiana. AJ was a self-employed auto body repairman for 43 years. He proudly served his country as a Sergeant while enlisted in the United States Air Force.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11AM.
