Alaina Fair Obituary

Mrs. Fair, 58, of Turkey Creek, entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Prairie Manor Nursing Home, Pine Prairie, LA.
Alaina graduated from LSUE, then went on to Louisiana College, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in General Studies. During college, she worked in the bookstore and was promoted to Assistant Manager. She enjoyed cake decorating, baking, and planting flowers. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Iralene Newman.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her loving husband of twenty-seven years, Dillard Fair of Turkey Creek; one sister Marjana Herring of Turkey Creek; one brother, Anthony Newman (Robin) of Turkey Creek; her niece and nephew, Selina Merworth and David Vanvalkenburgh, whom she raised for a period of time; five nephews, Brock Newman, Cory Fair, Brian Merworth, Cody Merworth, and Robert Fair; seven nieces, Amber Bell, Ashley Livingood, Krislyn Probert, Baylie Newman, Kimberly Dixon, Kaleigh Herring, and Rebekah Herring; numerous great nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
A time of visitation will be held at First United Pentecostal Church, Turkey Creek, on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at the church on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Brock Newman, Caiden Newman, Corey Fair, John Probert, Kevin Poole, and Ian Morgan. Honorary pallbearer will be Anthony Dixon.
