SOLTYS, Alan R., M.D., passed away on July 16, 2025. He was 80 years old. He is survived by his beloved children, his son, Mark Soltys and his daughter, Kimberly Weast and her husband, Chris. He is the loving 'Pop Pop Solts' of Luke and Cara Weast. He is lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his dearly loved siblings, Camille Brill and Henry Soltys, M.D. Born and raised in Camden NJ, Alan followed in his brother's footsteps and became a Medical Doctor graduating from Hahnemann University Medical School. He spent 40+ years caring for others in his career. He was a simple man whose faith was important to him. His patience, love and kindness was unmatched. He was a member of Holy Eucharist Church in Cherry Hill. Most of all, he cared for and loved his family. He raised his children in Voorhees and enjoyed the recent years of spending time with his grandchildren and participating in their lives. His passing leaves a hole in their hearts, but his legacy will live on through them. Relatives and friends are invited to his mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday July 22 at 11am at Holy Eucharist Church 344 Kresson Road Cherry Hill. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin NJ.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alan's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org.
