Algenis Andres Rodriguez, lovingly called "Haney", age 46, of Norman, Oklahoma, peacefully passed away, Saturday, July 19, 2025, in Moore, Oklahoma. Haney was born on Tuesday, October 3, 1978, to Domingo and Donna Rodriguez in Claremore, Oklahoma. Haney lived his life with passion, making a lasting impact on everyone he met through his genuineness and love. He was never one to meet a stranger because he would make you laugh and you would instantly become his friend. Haney's faith in God was vital to him. Above all, Haney showed true love to all of his family and friends. His Emi was the joy and light of his life. A lifelong sports fanatic, he excelled in baseball and basketball during his school years and carried that passion into adulthood, playing softball every chance he got. He was a devoted fan of the OU Sooners and the Pittsburgh Steelers. During football season, you would find him in crimson and cream on Saturdays and black and yellow on Sundays, rooting for his teams. He loved music, especially Eminem. He attended culinary school at OSU and had a talent and passion for cooking. He would whip up a delicious meal for any friend or family at any time. Haney was deeply loved, and his presence, laughter, and kindness is missed beyond words. Haney is survived by his loving wife, Trisha Rodriguez of Norman, Oklahoma; his parents, Domingo and Donna Rodriguez of Wright City, Oklahoma; his daughter and her fiancé, Emily Rodriguez and Chris Kingston of Farmers Branch, Texas; his brother, Daniel Rodriguez of Idabel, Oklahoma; his sister and brother in law, Crystal and Greg Rhone of Hugo, Oklahoma; his mother in law, Alice Thomas of Norman, Oklahoma; brother and sister in law, Trea and Antonio Lewis of Norman, Oklahoma; nephew, Bronx Rodriguez of Durant, Oklahoma; nieces Cambryn "Cami Jo" Rodriguez of Durant, Oklahoma and Adi Daisy Lewis of Norman, Oklahoma; special friend, Elizabeth Tobias of Idabel, Oklahoma and a host of other relatives and friends. A wake service will be held Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 6-8 P.M. at the Bowser Family Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, with Brother Wayne Anna officiating.
