Alice Joanne West Benton, 85, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025. Born in Greer, she was the daughter of the late George Harry and Cora Jessie Tolleson West and the wife of the late Carl C. Benton. She was retired from Springs Industries. Joanne was a member of Lake Cooley Baptist Church and attended Holly Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Teresa Lowe; a son, Richard Donahoo; five grandchildren, Shannan Dickerson, Kevin Donahoo and wife, Emily, Austin Donahoo, Jeff Lowe and wife, Chelsea and Bradley Lowe and wife, Myra; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Kenneth Donahoo; a brother, Harold West; and two sisters, Elsie Tinsley and Martha Acton.
Graveside services will be held at 4:30PM on Monday, February 03, 2025 at Wood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3PM until 4PM prior to the service at Stribling Funeral Home.
